turbo-ing a lx/dx isnt unheard of, but turboing a dx with that kind of mileage on it is a death sentence for your motor, swap it out
HybridJDMHonda said:Rip your motor out and tottaly re-build it. Upgrade the rods, pistons, rings, re-slevee it, put a blockguard in, overbore it, extrude hone it, etc. Then do some head work(port and polish, etc) then you can boost the hell out of it. Make sure you upgrade the injectors, pump, plugs, get a FPR, get some MSD ignition components as well(blaster coil, wires, etc).
Slap a turbo on there and boost, baby boost!!
Yeah, I would suggest a B series swap, and you may even end up saving a few dollars in the process. Plus these have more power potential than any D series engine.b16ahybrid said:Like it was said before,it's not unheard of to turbo a d15b7 (hell i did it) but for what it costs you should just swap the engine out.
The $300 shipping charge is included in the prices listed, so that more or less evens out the disputeb16a ferio said:man, that guy is a RIP-OFF!! He is selling his motors for like $300 more than everywhere else AND you gotta pay another $300 to ship on top of that. For anyone interested in motors, check out www.jdmhondaparts.com they have a big selection of motors and numerous other parts plus they have a good price on just about everything.
