Please read thru these combined stickies and use this information for the more frequent asked simple questions

1. Engine Break in Procedures

Well i wanted to post some information on engine breakin procedures since alot of FI guys go with built motors.
there are a few diff ways to get this process done. None are incorrect really, But here are two very good ones to follow

here is one from Endyne:this is a soft break in method like we were all taught as children. lol

Here is one from another coveted source on a hard breakin. Although this might sound harsh to some and off the wall i can assure it works well becuase i have done it a few times and this is what race cars use to break their motors in.

both will work very well , so its your choice which one you want to try, but now there is some good instructions out there for poeople to follow.

3. This will tell you almost anything you will need to know about turbos and what parts are needed and more.


I got this from another site that someone was posting . Alot of good information about turbos, how they work , parts needed, how to set relaistic goals , how they work ect ect ect.

Since im soo sick of seeing the same posts on spark plugs i figured id make a sticky as to a decent place to get them if all else fails and some part numbers.

I usually get 7's from Adanced Auto for $1.39 a piece. But thye wont get me colder. So here it is.

the part numbers for the following heat ranges


7 Series -
Stock Number for NGK is 2387
Part Number for NGK is BKR7ES-11

8 Series -
Stock Number for NGK is 7173
Part number for NGK is R5672a-8

9 Series -
Stock Number for NGK is 7405
Part number for NGK is R5672a-9
