Is anyone familiar with replacing the spring on a wastegate for a turbo? My turbo can't go below 9psi and I need to get it around 6 because I have stock internals and I don't want to blow another motor...The turbo is a 14b off a first gen galant/eclipse.

dude, I just wanna say props on the sohc turbo.... i'm feelin' ya on that one. second is that I have stock internals on mine too with 130K on the engine and i run around town on 10lbs all day long..... no problems. you got a boost controler, or just wanna change the spring, cuz the spring ain't easy. especially if the bolts are rusted on the wastgate/downpipe flange,which they usually are. you're basicly gonna have to tear apart the whole turbo.

Yeah i got a 95 sivic si and i was just woundering if it could handle a turbo charger..........
Yeah it should easily be able to, just get cold plugs, ic, and a fuel system. I got a boost controller but I can't turn it below 8/9. oh well motors are cheap haha.
