ok guys, i have a 1996 Civic Ex...i have some simple little things on it...intake exhaust, header..and whatnot...just simple things...its a D16Y8 motor...im thinkin about swappin it out or getting a Turbonetics turbo kit puttin the d16 at 173 to the wheels with 169 torque...i have a dyno sheet to prove thats what the increase would be....anyway i have no idea what to do... both would cost around the same price range...WHAT SHOULD I DO! AHHH

TURBO! no question about it! more power for the same price, and if sometime down the road you decide to build your motor you can get 300hp or more out of the Y8 and run low 12's- High 11's all day long...or you couple spend 4 grand on a b16 and a bunch of bolt on's and run 14's

id go turbo all the way man. even with stock internals with 7 psi youll walk n/a b16's....not only that but a turbo kit would be a hell of alot cheaper and more impressive than spending money on a swap. id say with the right tuning you could see 200 whp and 180 tq. thats alot more than a b16 swap could offer.

im all for the single cam vtec's...........300whp could be easily attained with forged internals, cam , a good tune and 15 psi
