They don't make superchargers for accords, as far as I know. But you can get a turbo kit, even if it's a custom turbo. Check out drag, rev hard, greddy, etc.
no superchargers...didn't know that...ok...well i'm guessing if there are any turbo accords out there...there aren't many..since your the only response lol

145hp, is that the 4-banger? what year is that, i almost got a 92 accord coupe with v-tech, how much hp do those have?

If my memory serves me right.. no Hondas in 92 had VTEC except for the NSX.

Anyhow.. instead of custom turbo or SC on a 94.. I'd say go for the H22!!! There cheaper than b18c's and fits well in the accord (you won't lose AC or PS). Check out h22.org for more info....
And also.. the H22 is a much better base to work off of if you do want to go F.I. later on.. then you'll have a monster.

yeah i looked around for while send a bunch of e mail .......... but for some reason NO one makes SC for 2.2 SOHC and i dont really wanna get turbo ( a lot more maintenance ) and SC are more reliable ............
Manufactures that I talk to think its not in demand so thats why they dont have applications for car like mine
.....

i heard the h22 is alittle bigger than the accord engine and you would have to bang out the sides of the accord to fit it in? i don't know if i am correct so please do correct me. i heard it from a friend. i was thinking of doing that, so that is why i wanna know if i am correct or not.

NON VTEC F22??? Ever hear of an F22B1? THATS A 2.2L SOHC VTEC engine found in the accord ex!! B18 much bigger???!!! DAMN you spend too much time staring at the valve cover. THERE IS no doubt in my mind the F22 is much bigger then a B18 lol it may be SOHC but it still is big

Have you ever looked at the bare engine of the F22 engine and the B18C engine? Though so. I saw one this weekend and quite honeslt, the B18C's external dimentions look way bigger than the F22 engine. ALthough it is a 2.2L, it looks smaller.

I know that the F22 has a VTEC version, but the only real difference in the two is the VTEC and the VTEC label on the valve cover.

Thats impossible dude get, use your head...I've done engine transplants for both. The only thing bigger on the B18 is the cylinder head cause the DOHC. Quite honest? Sounds like ur not sure of urself. Way bigger? DOUBTFUL. The only real difference between the two is the VTEC label? Hmmm i think there is a bigger difference then that....like the entirly different cylinder head used on both engines. It doesnt sound like you are sure of, or know what your talking about...especially since i've transplanted both engines. READ up on the SOHC VTEC and then tell me the differences on the nonVTEC sohc. PEACE OUT HAPPY READING

Look man, I'm not reffering to specs on what one has and what the other doesn't. I'm reffering to external dimensions here? Are we talking the same thing here?

I'm merely comparing the external size of the two, nothing more. And I didn't say it was bigger, I just sadi it looks bigger because who even knows the exact dimensions of the two. Have you measured it yourself?

If you compare the B16 to the B18C you would automatically say that the B16 is smaller because its a 1.6L compared to the B18C's 1.8L. But if you just look at the two it sitting there, engine next to engine, and not look at the block number would you be able to tell which engine is the B16 and which is the B18C? And don't look at the valve covers either since the DOHC VTEC label on it gives away a clue.

Honestly, you can't tell the two engine apart unless you look at the block numbers. The exterior dimentions are pretty close. So when I said that the B18C looked way bigger than the F22, I was reffering to exterior dimensions. Hope you understand what I was trying say.
