ok i have read that you can put a 92-95 ex turbo kit on the zc motor so i bought the kit i was wondering if anyone has done this yet.let me know.if so how hard was it

I have a turbo ZC with the 92-95 Greddy kit. It was pretty straight forward but you have a few things you have to change. YOu have to put in 2 check valves in the vacum line that comes off the throttle body. You also have to change some of the piping to the intercooler because it runs into the frame otherwise. YOu also have to take a notch out of the crossmember to fit the downpipe in place. If ya have anyother questions, let me know.

Hey turborex, what kind of times are putting out with your zc and greddy turbo. I'm interested. I was thinking about going zc and then throwing on a greddy turbo too.

or u could make ur own junkyard turbo i dunno if u want to or if u could at all (no offense)=, but its not hard. goto homemadeturbo.com abaz has made a bunch of em. The std manifold will fit onto a zc and u can port match it to the zc and runn it as a turbo manifold. its an idea we were gonna try on my friends zc. one of my other friends has a similar setup to PSIKOTICsibut uses teh HF manifold. and a T3 off a Talon.

hey jdmb18hatch...t3 out of a talon? talons came stock with a t25 which is a t2 series turbo.

twofacedsir....I have not run it yet because the tracks around here are still closed for winter. I just put it on recently so i have no times yet. If I had to guess right now, i would say it is runnin about a 14.1 area. That is with no tunnin at about 6lbs. I would say with some tuning and about 8lbs ( That is what Im goin to run) it should be in the high 13's.

hey jdmb18hatch...t3 out of a talon? talons came stock with a t25 which is a t2 series turbo.

pretty sure its a T3 could be wrong or that could have been his old one. The thunderbird turbo is a good one to use or the svo mustang or a mekur all a t3. Also a starion 14b turbo is a good one to use even though it spools up slower.

yea i think its also a t2 from a talon they come with a t25 stock. 14b from the starion is also a good turbo that is much better then the t25 from stock eclipse/talon even though it spools a little slower its a stronger turbo.
