I am looking into turbos, and was just wondering if there were any up and coming technologies that might save some money or give me better performance.

Turbocharger technology has been around for eons. There have been slight advances with it, making them more efficient, etc...but overall, it is the same, and probably won't be evolving too much more. The turbo is still the most efficient, most powerful way of boosting your motors performance.

I'm sorry, I do understand how turbo's work, I was just wondering "New" ideas in turbo's like when ball bearing turbos came out. Are there any that have new oil cooling systems, or new impeller designs that let them spool faster while increasing heat dispertion...

like mat said i dont think they will change the design much. i think they will just imporove ways of making the design more efficient such as using nitrous to spool it etc.
