I was saying to replace the dual filament bulbs we have in there with a single filament. The 1156 and 1157 bulbs are the same just one is single and the other is dual filaments.dgrobe2112 said:Does your car have a single filament?? it shouldnt?? You should have single filaments in the rear... if you have single filaments in the front you shouldnt have to cut any wires.. basically by cutting the wire you are makinga dual filament bulb, a single filament... do you get what im saying.. a dual is needed cuz of the 2 different brightness... when the lights are on normal, then brighter when they blink... Are you planning on wiring in a single fillament harness up there and taking out your dual filament?? if so, then you will wire it into the remote wire, which has the strip on it, and then the ground wire to the black wire.. call me if you want at (800) 433-3116 X 249.. i will be here at 1 oclock central, fixin to leave for lunch...

Never noticed that. Should of known that would not work, but thought I'd ask.dgrobe2112 said:A single fillament bulb will not work in place of a dual fillament, if you look at the bottom of the dual fillament, there are 2 connectors or fillaments on there.. a single then of course has 1, a harness, what you put the bulb into, has the same thing inside.. so if you have a dual fillament harness, a single filament bulb will not even go in there...
