how can u tell teh difference between type-r cars and non type-r cars, i ask becuz of all they fake badging in my area

Its very easy to tell the difference, blindfold yourself and be a passengere in both cars and then you tell me which is real.

i guess my real question was, were there honda civic , and honda accord type r's? and i dont mean engine swaps, i mean straight from the factory.

There are Civic Type R's, Integra Type R's, and Accord Type R's, But if you see ANY civic or accord type r, it's fake, because they are only in europe/japan, and a few other places. As for the ITR, an easy sign to look for in a real type r is the 5 lug rims, as all other integras have 4 lug.

any integra's can have that 5 lug conversion. i think that the real way to spot an itr is the sunroof. out of all the integra's only the type r's have no sunroof.

ever heard of RS and LS? RS don't have a sunroof at all and the car itself is even lighter than a type R. LS has sunroof as an option.
