I just did an even trade yesterday and later on today i have to get the new car registered. Everything is good on the title they gave me but it isn't signed. Is this goin to cause problems when i go to register it? or is it ok as long as the car hasnt been reported stolen?
This is my first time doing a trade so im really not sure about it.

umm you can't just sign a title. it has to be notarized, if not the car still belongs to the other guy

Well i decided to not even take the chance at the DMv n went back to get the guy to sign the title over to me so now the cars mine.

And also went to DMV so it can be official
