Used Shocks?

Hey guys, I'm new here, but I've been lurking around for a long time now. Anyhow, my question is...My friend is selling me his used Tokicos, Just wondering if used shocks are OK? He's had them on for about 6 months w/ 8000 - 10000miles. He dropped his car with Neuspeed sport springs.

It depends on what kind they are and how low u are going to drop your car. Are they tokico blues or lluminas?

If he is a good friend then he should be straight forward with you about the condition. How much is he selling them to you for?

They're illuminas and he's giving it to me for about $240. Should I go for it?
