I've used duplicolor for about three years now, I've finally got the technique down, they're pretty good quality and have a fantastic drying time (48hrs till compounding can be done). The main thing is a smooth primer coat, two color coats, and an good amount of clearcoat, clearcoat is what helps prevent chipping and allows you to wet sand and compound to get a high gloss, I usually do anywere from 3-4 coats. Make sure that you use a tack rag after the color coat is dry and before using clearcoat, when using a mettalic color, they tend to leave a grainy residue on the paint.

Good luck.
