before i got my v-afc i used to reset my ecu, and since i've gotten it,.... what happens when i restet it??? will it just erase the settings? , and is this a bad idea if i just got dynoed?...???

p.s. - i didn't get dynoed...

You can reset your ECU all you want, your VAFC will still hold its settings.

So you still need to reset your ECU with the VAFC installed? I was hoping it would overwrite OBD2's ability to alter fuel mapping...

disconnect the learning wire in the obd 2 ecu. it resets itself everytime you shut the car off...and turn it back on.

good to reset ecu when you get new mods? like i/h/e? what exactly does resetting it do?

the ecu then forgets everything...the ecu will learn your new mods and adjust for them...making them worthless I haven't reset mine in a while but you can tell a difference after you reset the ecu.

No I am not....unless I get a vafc.

the ecu learns but it doesnt change what the vafc is set at, my vtec hits at 4700 and 3 months later it doesnt just change back to 5500...the ecu plays with how much air you take in and push out, the vafc just changes the ratio
