My brother bought the tool to adjust his valves on his civic, and considering that my engine has 133,*** miles on it, it would be good to check my valves and see if they need to be adjusted. The measurement of the valves is written on a sticker underneath my hood. Before i do adjust them, is there anything i should do? check? or change while in there? Or is there anything that needs to be adjusted other than the valves? thanks

Not really.

Just adjust the valves....make sure you know the procedure also because you could seriously damage your engine.

wow, thanks for the writeup but from the looks of it, it seems serious, Looks like i wont be doing this. Grr thought it would be as easy as tighting or losening something. oh well thanks again

It's actually not that hard if you follow the instructions.

yup just make sure you line up the crank correctly.
