I'm looking to remove what I assume is wax buildup in the vinyl trim around my car windows. Its a green 99 civic ex. I noticed that the vinyl was cracked when i bought the car. It has thousands of small cracks, looks like a desert that dried up. I think that the cracks filled with wax or polish when i was waxing my car about two months ago.
Here's a pic, but my camera aint that great. The flash from the camera made it look a little worse than it actually is; in reality it is quite noticable.

Are there any products or methods that I can get to clean the wax out of the cracks? And lastly, is there any way to get rid of the cracks? Or, would I just have to replace the trim? Thanks in advance.
