you may wanna switch over to the spring style, the stock oil filled lost motion assemblies are known to fail and make a lot of noise, adding bigger cams will make the sound more noticeable

Adjusted and checked twice but still sounds rough. Any suggestions
First of all, let's understand the working principle of the valve. The rotation of the crankshaft drives the piston to reciprocate up and down in the cylinder, and the camshaft is driven by the chain, and then the flange of the camshaft presses the valve so that the valve can be opened and closed. During the process, there will be a normal sound, so the sound of the engine valve is normal. As long as the sound is not large, no special treatment is required.
However, when the valve clearance is too large or the screw is loose, it will cause the sound of the valve to become louder when it is working, which is not normal. It is necessary to adjust the valve clearance and screw to return to normal. If a different type of oil is added, the valve will also make abnormal noise.
Another situation may be that the sound is not produced when the valve is working, but the sound of knocking on the cylinder. The sound of knocking on the cylinder will be louder than that when the valve is working. Check and eliminate hidden troubles in time.
