Here is what happens to your honda accord when it hits a freight truck at 60 mph....

i was going through a yellow light <yes..it was yellow> a truck was turning in front of me onto the other street...yeah well i didn't see the truck because it was dark and there was a car in front of me blocking my view...so by the time i locked up the brakes...it was too late cause the only thing i saw in my windshield was the side of a huge truck. about a minute later i woke up..covered in blood with a guy yelling at me "are you ok". i looked around to see what the hell had just happened and noticed i no longer have a windshield..and i start spitting out teeth and glass. and by the way..the airbag smoke is enough to kill you..i couldn't friggin breath.

anyways..the paramedics came and break out the jaws of life to cut me out...meanwhile somebody opens my door and i get out of the car. they didn't like me getting out of the car...so i got yelled at...i just wrecked my car and they're friggin yelling at me!!!! heh..whatever..they finally wheeled me off into the ambulance. and i got a 600 dollar ride to the hospital. don't ask me why it cost 600 dollars to drive 9 miles in an ambulance..but it does.

sooo..moral of the story...don't go through those friggin yellow lights!!!

btw..i bought a new accord since then...i'll have pics soon i hope.

2 kids here in Wichta Ks were killed 2 weeks ago on the highway, a corvette was racing a firebird, and the corvette SLAMED into the back of the accord. INSTANT fireball, there were flames all the way accross the highway. 1 kid made it to the hospital to die later, the other died on scene. See it isn't ONLY the "IMPORT RACERS" who give street racing a bad name!

Tang, Street Racing is ridiculous in general man, come on. Regardless of who is doing it, it is still reckless. And to Joecool, glad to see you're sitting there typing after a wreck like that.

I swear to god the Corvette guys are the most immature car owners I've ever known...ten times worse than any "import-tuner" These guys all think their Corvettes are Diablos or something. They are so snobby about thier cars, and I swear to god...the people I have seen driving even Ferrari's are more conversational than the Corvette guys..like they are some kind of royalty or something. My dad and I go out driving in his car, and half the corvettes that we see try to race us like they have some kind of chance, and every time, it's an easy race. I don't get these guys...

could somebody post those pics for me..so you dont have to go to that crappy geocities site...or tell me how i can do it. i already got an email telling me i'm over my limit for the site. man i hate geocities...ah well..catch ya'll later

You were still linking the pictures to geocities.. and so thus when people are trying to view this thread are still trying to transfer from geocities..

man i never knew that geocities puts a cap on how much data is transfered from your site.. how crappy is that.. hah.

anyways.. i'm looking foward to seeing the pictures.. not that i'm morbid or anything.. but it sounds interesting, :)

I hate getting into accidents. I've been in three... two of which involved hitting a tree very very hard. I totaled a 92' Camaro (really bad rain and bad rear wheel traction and bald rear tires don't mix), and my first a smashed into a tree head on... I wasn't apying attention and I drifted off the road in a Tahoe... I swerved to miss a mailbox, and over compensated and swereved on the wrong side of the road...result I smashed dead-center into a tree. I hit so perfectly that the Liscence plate was bant in a perfect half circle to the shape of the tree.

well i was going 60 because the speed limit was 55..and your right..i was lucky...i'm 6'5...so my head came real close to getting messed up.

luckily i walked away with minor injuries and got back to work within 2 weeks.
