What happens to the AC in an Engine Swaps

I know this is a dumb question, but is the AC universal where you can connect it to an engine after a swap and it will still work fine?

i.e. You get an S model and swap a better Honda motor, will the AC still be usable to this new engine?

I am having trouble finding a decent VTEC model, just looking at other options. Please no dumb replies.

I'm not sure, I have a sol SI and when I put the B18C in there, the freon line would not bolt onto the stock location. If you can find someone that can weld aluminum, it should be less than $100 to weld your old threads on. right now its winter and I have no AC. We'll see when it gets hot.

just leave the a/c out..i dont have mine, and im in GA..just go to QT get a big gulp (64ozer), and your str8. The ac should mount up, but ive never done it so dont take my word for it, im sure its noting you couldnt figure out while your their.
where i live it gets to be 120+ degrees so AC is a must. i used the prelude compresso and had the lines fitted with prelude AC fittings then bent them gently into place and charged the system. i havent had any problems at all ith it
i have a b18b swap and i just used a b16 ac mount and it works fine
