My car backfires every now and then when I'm using the nitrous, is this normal and what does it actually mean when it does this, and can I make it stop?

I spray only after 5000rpm.

ehhe i posted what i think in the turbo forum.

but then again i'll write it one more time:

exhaust backfires because:

ignition misfire
car is running lean
exhaust leak

i think your car is running lean. maybe getting a fuel pump might help solve the problem.

i hear it on mine too ever since i got the straight pipe put in. dont think it is because of the nitrous.

mine does it at a high RPM ever sicne i got my enlarged piping..most of the cars i seen is like that. is that normal or is it backfire?

Backfires happen when your car runs rich. Some of the unburned fuel travels into the haot exhaust system and detonates there.

a lot of peoples cars are liek dat. its like after i step on the gas and let it go it you kinda hear the air go back in. most people with loud exausts do that.
