I have been reading through all the posts and it seems like everyone has a different opinion on everything. But i figure ill ask again anyway just to be sure.

I plan on getting Eibach Sportline springs for my Civic. I really want to get Koni Yellows as i heard that they are definitely the best shocks on the market. But they are kinda expensive. How about KYB AGXs?? I read that they arent suitable for drops lower than 1.5". However, some people say that they work great with the Sportline spring.

So basically, what would be the best shocks to go with the Sportline??

Thanks!!!

use tokico blue

they are the least expensive shocks from the tokico family... trust me, i had these with sportlines on my 94 accord which is a lot heavier than your car and it gave me a smooth ride with wicked handling... it was not a mushy ride but soft with sport stiffness(not harsh at all.) ask others who have this kit and they will tell you the same... besides it is the lleast expensive and it is all you need with the sportlines..

Thanks for the replies!

I read that the tockicos blow out quickly with a drop lower than 1.5". How are the Illuminas??

I would go with the Blisteins but they are pretty costly too. I can get a set KYB AGXs for $300 shipped. I read through a lot of posts and people said that these will hold up with the sports.

I have KYB AGX shocks and they work just fine lowered 2 inches on skunk2 coilovers...I will be switching to H&R race springs shortly.

Both the Tokicos and the KYBs void their waranty if you lower the car more than 1.5"
Personally I would suggest the Bilstein Heavy Duties...very good shocks.
