Just wondering what size piping I should be using on my greddy td04 turbo?? Last year I used like 2.5 inch piping but was just told that was way too big. So what size piping do you think I should use. That would explain my turbo lag anyway. Anyway let me know what you think.
Thanks in advance

Oh Really?? The turbo is on a sohc vtec and when they told me that, it kind of made sense because you would have less area in the pipe fill which would help the turbo lag, but if you say that 2.5 inches is the right size then I'll take your word over theirs for sure.
Thanks

Your best bet would be to run with no exhaust at all...That's how I got my best times, off the downpipe only.

That setup should have no turbo lag whatsoever to begin with. How much boost are you running with? A straight piped exhaust (no cat) should give it an extra kick too.

Sorry I must have not explained myself good enough. I am talking about the piping that goes between the turbo and your intake. My piping that goes between the turbo and the intake right now is 2.5 inches in diameter. That's the piping that I got off the guy when I bought the turbo last year.
So now what size piping do you think that I should run between my turbo and intake. Is there a kit that you can buy???
Sorry about that!
