Im running a custom exhaust with basically a no name coffe can muffler. I think the pipping is 2 inch or possibly 2 1/4 inch, Ive heard some people say this is too big for a non turbo car. Im wondering what you guys think, one guy I talked to said that my exhaust was slowing my car down, and he said I should have 1 3/4 inch put on. Im no exhaust expert but for some reason 1 3/4 just seems like it would be too small. Thanks in advance guys.

For a D-series, I would run 2.25" to 2.5". Most aftermarket cat-back systems are 60mm, which is about 2.3".

For a B-series, I would run 2.5".

I wouldn't run anything bigger than that on a streetable NA build. Forced induction may require larger piping depending on the setup.
