i have been reading a lot of all of your guys posts about lowering springs and i am just like everyone else and cannot decide to get GC coilovers or to get some springs. i do not know what to do because i am really worried about the gap that there will be with the lowering springs. i have a 95 civic hatch and my question to you guys is what springs should i use that have a 2 inch drop or the closest to 2 inches without being more than 2 inches?

I believe Neuspeed Race will drop you with a 1 finger gap all around. Contact Mugen1182 since he has a 5th ge. sedan and can tell you all about them.

If you are worried about gaps (as I was), get the GC's. Buying Neuspeed Sports was a bad idea for me, since I am yanking them and getting GC's

I had the Neuspeed sports on my Integra and was pretty happy with them. Coilovers/sleeves will always give you the perfect drop you want so if it's that important to you, I'd suggest the GCs.

Eibach sport springs should be close to 1.8" all around.

neuspeed race drop the car very low...atleast on a prelude. too low for the street. same with H&R race.

i read somewhere in another post that eibach sport springs do not lower consistently and sometimes other people's come out highere than other's. is this true? cause if it is then i think that i will have to go with GC coilovers. oh and to 98civiclx: since you are rolling on 16's and i am planning to roll on some si rims which are 15's won't my drop be a little lower or will it?

I'm sittin' on 17's not 16's
The overall diameter should be about the same for the 15's and 17's which will have about the same drop. GC's are about $170 more than springs, but will be well worth it IMO. I've never rode in a car with sleeves, but 99% of the GC owners love them!!
The 1% have squeaking problems, but I believe that is from not properly lubeing the ball joints.

IF you are worried about the gaps go with GC's. s everyone else haas said you can't go wrong with the drop and look!!!

Oh do a search on "Ground Control" for some useful info on them!!!!

On the 6th gen civic 1.75" fr / 1.5" rear and the drop is UNEVEN!!!!

Yes!! If you are running Bilstein HD's or Koni Yellows there are special applications for the 2. They're $10 more per corner but allow you to run either of the 2 struts.

It's what I got to get since I have the HD's

It is been only about a week.

Do i need to let it settle more. I doesn't looks like a 2inch drop.

Yeah, it may settle a little more, but I doubt that much since it's already been a week.
