IMO, it's better to go with looks over performance, JUST to start off with.

Hey if you want all show and no go then go with looks first. Thats what I did. Plus its less money. But if you want a sleeper then go with motor first. Im doing a new motor this summer. I just did a 17.45 at atco raceway friday. Pretty sad huh but at least my car looked good. Plus if you're trying to show off your ride then you dont want to fly by all the girls anyway. Thats how I look at it.
i\h\e is nice becaues it helps with fuel economy and makes your car sound really nice if you get good stuff.
look dont fuck up like i did if you have any thoughts of doing a swap i reapt SAVE YOUR MONEY. damn i wish i would have cause i would have had a b16 or an LS an my car would be soooo much faster

but if your not planing on doing a swap yeah then do I/H/E.

Go for performance first. There's no point in looking fast if your not. If you just want a little extra power, most people start with an intake, then exhaust, and then header. Some people perfer to do suspension before moving to power parts. If you want to eventually build a pretty fast car, it's best if you save your money for an engine swap and then do bolt ons from there.
First I'd like to say hello to everyone on the board. The way I went with my civic ex was to do performance first. Given I could have spent atleast $1200 for some nice rims and tires but just think what $1200 could do for you performance wise...... Just my 2 cents. ...........Doug
