Q. What was your FIRST car ever?

Hey guys, just wandering about your history. My history with cars isn't that great. Made too many mistakes which (not included here.....Hint Hint: I got scammed for one, that's just the beginning.)

My first car:
1st-'95 Neon (piece of shit none the less it was my car, ya know)

2nd-Then came the '99 Sunfire (got broken into for the head unit, but in return got the guys leg broke right near the shins)

3rd-'01 Celica GTS (First time driving manual...ever Whoa!:wow)

4th-'93 Civic DX

5th-'01 Celica GT

6th-'95 Honda Del Sol -s (s for slow) but I love it and all thanks to GOD even though some might not believe in GOD. Well all thanks to GOD, but really always wanted a Del Sol.

Hah well I started out quite shitty too.

1.1996 Caddilac catera. Im not sure if you guys are familiar with the car. you should be, because they are a huge f*ckup. Mine blew the head gasket and the wiring shorted out. Thankfully i got rid of it before all of it went completely to shit.

2. First time driving stick! On my... * drum roll* 1993 Honda civic lx! I picked it up as a trade for my caddilac. it only had 83k original miles! Ended up selling it for 2300

3. My 1993 delly Si :3 my baby. and the same time I also aquired a 1996 dodge stealth. so dsm too baby.

I swear by honda and their reliability. for eternity

I'm only 17 and poor so haven't been through many yet lol. But my 1st car and only one I've owned is my current '94 Del Slo S. As much of a piece it is, it's 1139287589% mine. I payed for it, payed for the plates and registration, made mutliple retarded trips to the DMV cause the lawyer I got it from doesn't know how to fill out title papers, I payed the $225 insurance down payment and continue to pay the $194 a month to insurance to keep it on the road. I take pride in it for doing it myself and roflmao at kids who talk shit w/ their new '08 or '09 cars that mommy and daddy bought them and pay for. =P

Hey, don't worry...I am only 19. Just 2nd year in college. I got all these cars with loan money...VERY VERY STUPID. Atleast for me, my family is poor as F**#. But man sometimes I do feel like dropping out of school cuz I love cars soo much, I want to learn and work on cars. Right now everything is a catch or miss so I am just going to fnish a 2 year degree.
Man I always try to follow this "with hardship comes ease" maybe we learn the hard way but atleast we learn at the end.
Where I live in PA, all the freaking SUVs always think they are all that with a small car. I have a Dry Chem base fire extinguisher, shit if I go down I am spraying that infront of the intake...it's fine enought to either go into the engine or totally fuck the cars filter up to stop air flow. (volunteered at a fire house for a bit, so I am guessing it might work. PLUS obvously Del Sol rear window comes down.)

OH! Dry based fire extinguishers (looks like yellow powder) smells really bad and is very, very had to take off...usually people just replace the part where it was sprayed.

**I want to get some high pressured paint stripper filled in the fire extinguisher bottle.

ha wow were all pretty young. im only 18 as well. I worked for a whole year and save up for my caddilac, then got lucky with my sales and purchases.

btw. never buy a cadillac.

the first vehicle I used was still the families truck. the first car I owned myself. hehe a 1965 c-10 which I still have sitting in the back yard waiting to get restored.

2nd bought a temp car which sucked had it for about a month like an old 80's chevy chevette
3rd I went back to the guy that I bought the 1st 65 c10 from and bought his other 65 c-10 with small block 400 and th350 mustang 5.0's couldn't keep up
then I bought the civic sold the truck for a bike. bought a few different cars mr2 saturn sw2. fox body mustang the list really just goes on. currently I have a 2006 passat 2.0t a 1984 rabbit convertible that is now my dd and my 81 rabbit that I'm rebuilding. I just turned 26 and I've been through alot of cars bought and paid for by me. I would say around 20. I expect to own many more. I also expect to have at least 5 rabbits by the time I'm done.

and I'm pretty fucking broke. I have a wife and 2 kids and no job. it sucks but I still have my cars. hopefully I get rehired from the last job I had in new orleans. I'll have enough money to do what I want with if I get it back

I can't even list the order in which I had all the other cars. But the first Honda I drove was a 5th gen coupe and the first car I bought was a 5th gen Si.

I almost took the leap into my own shop about a year ago. had a location I was looking at getting and even had some friends that were interested in it as well. but decided not to. you really got to know your shit. not just about hondas but about all the imports. I was looking int getting my brother and a couple other people involved b/c of this. my brother knows nissan and the other guy knew toyota I of course knew honda. but after a while it gets old real quick when you realize 90% of the people that own hondas are young dumbass punks that don't know shit, but want to talk out their ass.

my 1st was a 95 grand am gt. i had it for a day it was knockin when i got it so i traded it for...

my 2nd a 95 monte carlo, it was a turd on wheels but i had fun with it.

the tranny started to go in it so i traded it for a shitty 90 civic 4 door that had 18's on it, rubbed all the damn time

skip a few cuz i dont remember lol and i had a 98 jeep cherokee sport 2wd it was fun as hell.. sold it cuz i went off to the army


got back and got a 08 harley davidson sportster 1200n Nightster

and got a 97 honda del sol si.....


im only 21 and ive had about 8-10 cars

Only had 56k and was great condition, paint..the whole thing. Sold it for 7500...for tuition..ended up taking loan anyways.

I heard if you keep doing this (continuously buying and selling) on and off you need to start paying dealer Tax or could get in trouble. True or not? Any one know...don't really know but yeah. When I got my Sol from the dealer, he tried to put the dealer plate behind the window...STUPID! it fell in..still in the car...might just keep it..heck after all it's a dealer plate.

I started with a 1991 Pontiac Convertible Subbird, ran till it had 220,000 and died, and I sold it to a junkyard for literally $1.00 They wrote me a check and everything.

Then I had a 1999 GMC Jimmy, and that ran to 96,000 and then the differntial basically failed and broke itself, and I parted it out and sold it for more than I bought if for, and then sold the body and wheels to a junkyard for $250.

And now i have a 1996 Chevy Silverado with 200,000 (still running) and my 2002 Cr-v with 125,000 That I use as my project car.
