What will hondata take the place of??

I know that Hondata is a standalone but if I bought one of these what would I be able to get rid of?? Would I be able to get rid of BTM, FMU, Check valves,Vtec controller, anything else?? I am looking at a stage three hondata, any opinions or suggestions I am just learning about it.

You will be able to get rid of all of your alphabet soup. BTM FMU AFC J&S AIC and whatever other bandaids that you have been tricking the factory computer with. Its a very nice system.

By the way I presume from what people are telling me that these things are worth the money if you can swing it?? Do you know what is a good price for a stage 3 hondata. By the way what is a J&S and AIC??

J&S is a company that makes a reactive knock retard controller. Its more of a safety net than anything but really not necessary if you keep the car tuned conservatively. AIC is Additional Injector controller. FMAX includes and MF2 in their kit which is a brand of AIC.

The prices for Hondata are listed on their site.. I would think if you can find a system for less than the listed price youre getting a pretty good deal.
