i have a 99 prelude sh. i have h&r race springs(2" drop) on my car, and i need shocks badly. i was wondering if anybody knew what the best non adjustable shocks were and why it says that all of these aftermarket shocks won't work for gen5 type sh preludes. thanx...

i'd say tokico blue would be the best choice for non adjustable but i know SH shocks aren't same size as base prelude so i'm not sure..do some research before you buy anything just because someone recommends a brand name on this board, goodluck
what kinda springs and shocks do you guys have on ur car now?

i like KYB AGXs im happy with em
just to let you know no1stunna09, these AGX's are adjustable. i've also got them on my SH and i'm quite satisfied with them. with neuspeed sport springs.
the best non-adjustable shocks on the market are Bilstein HDs.
As for why a bunch won't work on the SH, the reason is the ATTS. Shock mounts, etc are different.
hold on, so can i not get aftermarket shocks for my 99 sh at all?

yes you can. KYB AGX are very good shocks that fit the SH. good investment.
