What's the deal with AIR BAGS???

Ok! I am just woundering how the handling is on AIR BAGS???

Well...I've never heard anything good about the handling on bags...

And if i get them can i still get sway bars upper and lower to improve the handling??

They wouldn't help enough.

The reason i want them is it is so convinent to raise and lower your car and it looks soooo tight when it is sitting on the ground with some 18 inch rims.

Air bags are a total show-compromise piece. They are strictly so you can raise your car to drive it to the show, then lower it for that stupid-ass (In my not so humble opinion) "slammed" look.

Air bags are all show. If you want a performance-driveable compromise, get a good set of coilovers drive to the show, drop the car. After the show, lift the car back up. If you lift it back to the EXACT same height it was, you won't have to align it each time.

yeah, the airbag suspension setups have no performance aspects to them at all.

What about air cylinders? I think air bags are used more for trucks. Are you more concerned with handling/performance, or ride comfort?

Honda civic cannot use air bags. They REQUIRE air cylinders. I was about to get them when i decided the money it would take to get them to work would be better off spent on a new motor. And if you do decide to get the air suspenson then forget about racing or even going fast cuz with the ride quality you will get it wont even be worth it.

Not only is there no performance, but the ride SUCKS ASS. It is so bad your back hurts even if the road is a little bumpy. Def. only show, no go.
