when I hit my brakes or accelerate quickly my civic jumps
from one side to another. What is wrong? Maybe out of
line or something.

it could be an alignment problem, but as for the accelerating thing... honda's have this awesome thing called torque steer. usually cause the car to pull to the right under hard acceleration...usually caused by the one axle being shorter than the other. sometimes groves in the road also can make you seem like it's being pulled one way but that's becaues your not aligned in those groves.
