I have a 70 dry shot of NOS on my car, and have heard many different things about the correct placement of the nozzel. Does anyone know the "correct" place for it. Right now, i have it facing the intake like 2 inches before the throttle body. I've heard some people say to put it at the end of the intake by the filter, so it can mix with the air better. anyone got any knowledge about this?

What you have heard is correct, you want it as far away as possible (within reason), such as close to the filter. I am sure there will be some people that jump on here and disagree but I have done it both ways (closer to the TB and close to the filter) and have experienced a better result with it farther away. The reason being is not only the way it atomizes but it also works as an intercooling effect, which cools the whole intake charge on its wayt to the manifold. If the nozzle is as close to the TB as yours is and with a dry kit what happens is that the nitrous is not distributed as evenly to all cylinders and you lose some of the intercooling effect that you have with it it far away.

If you run a wet setup, you want it as close to the throttle body as possible so that the nitrous and fuel do not seperate too much. With a dry shot, having it close by the filter, as far away from the throttle body as possible. The reason why I believe placing the nozzle from a dry shot far from the the throttle body is exactly as 91sleepercrx said, it'll give an intercooling effect and it will atomize better. What the hell are we crack-smoking, nitrous-fiends talking about? Atomization allows the nitrous to distribute better between cylinders so that you do not lean out one cylinder and make another too rich.
