Where is the PCV valve?

i'm underneath my car giving it an oil change and between trying to get the filter off and trying to figure out what this watery looking stuff is that just ended up underneath my car i'm trying to look for the pcv valve since it needs to be replaced and i can't find it. and you have any other tips to getting a stubborn filter off besides just keep trying? hehe

its below the intake manifold right near the oil filter its a little black box were the pcv pops into...
thanks, now time to go break my arm some more :D
Dosent the Civic have an internal PCV valve - meaing its a bitch to change.

No, It's right under the intake manifold like aemcivic_02917 stated.
i think i found it, it was plugged into this like metal box with a hose attached to to the other end, but my oafish hands were so cramped up in there i couldn't get to it, it's mounted horizontal correct?

You are correct.
it says in the manual for tune ups... but i heard a bad pcv valve can cause erradic idles, whether they jump around or just be flat out low.
Hey let us know what happens with that new PCV valve pushVTEC, I will replace mine at my oil change coming up tomorrow hopefully, it should be a nice day. I am gonna also change my fuel filter too.
