From what I've read on this, here @ SH, and other Honda Boards, a lot of integra owners have reception problems with the S2K antenna. Unless your stations are local and come in strong, I'd advise against it. Apparently, the S2K antenna works best with the S2K head unit.

I usually listen to cd's in my car, but whenever i do choose to listen to the radio, the reception is perfect...as good as the stock antenna.

Hi Guys,

I build the S2K conversion kit (authorized by Trey of B-Series) for the '94-01 Teg. Thanks for the mention Tuan.

I've got several kits ready to ship. Email me [email protected]

pre-'94 Teg's: I've sold a kit to one guy. Personally, I've never tired it. I believe the antenna plug connects in the same manner as the post-'94 models, so that should be an issue. The plastic plug on the outside of the car looks the same too, but once again I have not tried it. If someone is interested in giving me positive feedback on fittment, then email me and I'll make you a deal on the kit price.

Reception: This topic comes up a lot. I personally didn't experience any drawback in reception when I changed my personal antenna. Maybe on highway trips when you are in the middle of nowhere, reception goes down a bit. Several methods have been tried to increase the range, but thus far nothing has worked. My stance has always been this; if you live/commute in a predominantely metropolitan area then reception should be the same as the OE antenna. If you live in a more rural setting, then reception may go down. Just depends on how far away from the towers you really are. Hope that helps!
