I just purchased the Zex street camshaft yesterday, and the valve springs as well, so when they come in, i'll let ya know. Also, for timing gears (cam gear), Fidanza will be releasing a line for hondas...i just got mine from them, first one off the assembly line. So there is an insider tid bit for ya.

hey thanks guys i guess i'm gonna go with the zex cam, but there are 2 one for street and one for street/ strip and they recomend valve springs and retainers for the street and strip one. do i REALLY need them or will my stock hold up?what will happen if there is valve lift? will it mess up my engine?

I would get them anyway. While your doing the work on the cams you can have them installed at the same time. I mean don't you have to remove them to put the cams in? It will free up a little money in your wallet and free up your mind about worring about them breaking.

I prolly have a different opinion then everyone here but I agree with ZEX cam. But man, let's just get real and swap the sol dude. 2 cams is better than one.

the street/strip cam is a good one, if you still have the stock rev-limit you should be ok. The cam is capable of making power past the stock rev-limit, but you need the valve springs and retainers for that. So in short if you have the stock rev-limit you should still get the street/strip. I have heard lots of info on this so you should be ok.
