turbo is faster of course..depends on the setup which is safer. jackson racing is supposed to be a safe SC while greddy makes a safe turbo kit
the jackson racing is a 6 psi pulley, but it tends to fluctuate. some people such as myself are boostin 7 psi on the same pulley.. that or the boost gauge is wrong. there is a 9psi pulley available however. i think i read somewhere someone had a custom 10psi pulley built. and this guy supposedly ran a 12.9 in the 1/4 mile. most people run very high 13's to lower 14's with the 6psi pulley. i've seen people claim as low as 13.4 with the 9psi pulley. that's not actual firsthand experienced so dont' quote me on that. jus what i've read stories about. i guess you can even send the blower itself to endyn and have it rebuilt to handle up to 14psi. anything can be done. i'm pretty sure tuned, and the right setup, you can get in the 230ish whp on a prelude with the jrsc on the 6psi pulley. about 260ish with the 9psi.luderboysh said:does anyone knoe how much horses the prelude can boost up to with a supercharger?
if i owned my own car performance company i'd put my stuff in my own car too. but I'm glad to know he owns a lude.mrmyz said:jackson racing i your safest option for forced induction. The 5th gen prelude super charger was tested for a long time before released and the guy that owns the company has his 5th gen supercharged by jackson. that means that he trusts in his product.
