tonite I plan on ordering some Ferrea valves, but here are my choices. its for a boosted B18A. because of the boost I dont want the oversized ones right?


PART#: F1815P (E) - DIAM. 28mm - REFERENCES: 30º Flo. Dish Head - Stock Size. Super Alloy

PART#: F1488P (E) - DIAM. 28.5mm - REFERENCES: 30º Flo. Dish Head - .5+mm oversize. Super Alloy

PART#: F1489P (E) - DIAM. 29mm - REFERENCES: 30º Flo. Dish Head - 1+mm oversize. Super Alloy

PART#: F1816P (I) - DIAM. 31mm - REFERENCES: 20º Super Flo. Dish Head - Stock size

PART#: F1490P (I) - DIAM. 31.5mm - REFERENCES: 20º Super Flo. Dish Head - .5+mm oversize

PART#: F1491P (I) - DIAM. 32mm - REFERENCES: 20º Super Flo. Dish Head - 1+mm oversize

heres what is listed on Ferreas site, for all valves for the B18A/B.

so, I guess my question is: do I want oversized valves? and if I do how much bigger do I want them?

oversized valves are good for more power, NA or FI...the only problem is that you have to get your ports enlarged (duh). i think what you were thinking is that you want to avoid overlap. imo, if you want some street driveability and daily driven reliability, don't go tooooooo big. also, consult your tuner and see what he recommends. every setup is unique :tu
