Well it's been a busy few weeks for me. Got the car back, and dynoed.

But I also blew the motor! I was racing a porche 911 and took the rpms to 7500... the car leaned out and lost compression in cylinder 3! I guess I could call it a win though!

Got new parts coming...

JE Pistons (8.9:1)
Crower Rods
APR head bolts
Block Gaurd

15 PSI here we come!

Sweet setup dude!

Everything looks prime....straight up tirboed h23, no? I am up in the air with either putting cash into a turbo kit with stock internals or putting it in the bank for the GS 430 Lex I wanna get in 5 years. How many psi were you running when you blew the ring ? Do you have an SAFC?

That thing looks tight. But it had to suck blow'n the engine again right after you got it done :eek: I would have been pissed.

very nice man. i like the looks.. it looks almost like mine, the rims and front are different tho... paint looks just like mine.. that sux about yoru motor... why were you only pushing 244 hp? no fuel management? low boost?

thats hot i thought it would have lag out the ass

also, whats the diff between the turbonetics t3/t4 and the garret t4/t3?
t3/t4 is smaller. I don't know the exact specs on size.

spooling by 2gs, full spooled by 2,500. The turbo makes power to rev-limter. I don't know the exact point it dies off.

man how did u get it to start spooling full boost so quick at 2500 rpms? that's hardly any lag at all. i'm getting my car back next week with just a small garett T25 (but i've gotten all the parts that a T3/T4 setup would require, minus low compression pistons and engine rebuild).. i'll use this T25 until i get more funds to rebuild the engine. but this supposedly spools at 2500 too. when does yours start producing mad power and pushes u into your seat?

main reason was cos my car is daily driven, and i got the T25 very cheap and i didnt want lag. i guess i get more power around 3000 rpms with my small turbo than T3/T4? but it dies off early probably. i dont race it cos i dont want the car to die on me
