Hi, when installing a Type R (Wings west) spoiler onto an Accord V6, I am told new springs are needed for the trunk since the new spoiler is heavier. Does anyone know where to get springier springs?

Also, the shops says that the wing's edges are close to the outside edges of the trunk, so the bolts and attatchment points may strain the trunk, does anyone know anything about this? Is it supposed to be wide toward the edges? Is it a problem for anyone?

i dont know of anyone on this board with the type r wing.
so your best bet on your question is just to contact wings west directly. this will give you a straight answer.
