Hey hows it goin? Well today I went to Honda to get some recalls taken care of and they said my front left motor mount is broken!!! They said it would be $127 to get that fixed. ARGH!!! Anyway I wanted to know how the hell I did that? I dont drive it hard and its still stock. I dont want to think Im too buff for an accord.

did you look and see if it was actually broken?

They're made of rubber bushings and what not. So in due time, they'll crack and break. Polyurethane bushings will send a lot of vibrations to the cabin but then your engine will have less losses in shaking and drive the crank with more power. But racers use polyurethane bushings because of the amount of power their engines make. You need good mounts to keep them steady.
