so i have a B16A with a Y1 Cable tranny its got a pgm-fi manifold its Vtec and the head says "DOHC" and "VTEC" but "VTEC" is in smaller font , the serial number is 5205120 theres no letters b4 or after it and the trannys serial number is 1025542, someone thats a honda wiz has gotta have the answers for me plz help lol ... while im here i would like anyone whos knows to give me spark plug brand, numbers and gap that are best for my engine
your motor for that year did not come in the states. it came in civic/crxs siRs in japan and most other countries around the world. it also cam in the civic VTI in europe i believe. regardless. any b16 part will work on it. as will most other b series parts. when you go buy plugs and shit. just tell the dude behind the counter that its for a 99-00 civic si (usa)
its a jdm motor if you look on the head just above the exhaust manifold the the left it will give you the year of the car it came from. it will just have the last two digits like 88,89,90,ect.....
