I looked at some Honda bikes recently... I might also go for either a Gold Wing (1.8L flat-six engine) or a Valkyrie (1.5L flat-six engine). Probably the Valkyrie, in all black trim - the engine is a little smaller but so is the bike... and it's something like 40% cheaper!
...But then again, the engine appears to be mounted a little lower on the Gold Wing, which tells me it has its center of gravity a little closer to the ground. Maybe that's a good thing, maybe not... don't know what that does to cornering. I do like the GW's "presentation" (i.e. most of the engine and other internal components are covered).
Six cylinders on a bike... 1.5-1.7 liters of displacement... shaft drive rather than chain... and they look niiiice too... :megar:
