Next time you fill up look at your receipt. Take the amount of fuel you just pumped and divide that number by the mileage on your tripometer. (edit) this works as long as you reset your tripometer everytime you fill up.

My car -
'99 Lude 39,000k miles
Engine mods: AEM CAI, DC Sports Header, Apexi N1, Zex plugs
Normally get around 22mpg in mixed heavy city/highway traffic

Yeah try to list a full tanks' total miles....til your gas light comes on. Or at least let us know where you are counting and stopping at.

Im thinking my car gets around 280 per tank. CF Hood , 17inch rims , yokohoma avs es-100 tires , i/h/e , hf cat , tb and underdrive pullies.

Thats pretty much hard street driving.

Also another way to do it , is reset your trip and at exactly halfway full you mulitply it by two.

That way your pretty much sunk , allthough you get better mpg with less gas because of the fact your carrying less weight.

Gas light came on tonight. Had 276 miles on the tripometer, filled up with 12.714 gallons so i got about 21.7 MPG. 15.9 gallon tank meaning 3.186 gallons left in the tank when the light came on.
