Ok, This is the first time I have to go through emissions with the ZC in my rex. I failed the first time do to a bad tps and iacv. Will the fact that my car is running rich greater the chance of failing again? what are some ways to get the ZC to pass?

hey look who it is wuts up mikey havent seen u on any of the other boards how ya been?
id fill it with some 94 i think MD carries it right? drive around for a while to get it warmed up and pray to god it passes, i dont think i wont ive seen em pass in jersey and we have teh closest to ca emssionss than anyone. just fix the eacv and the tps is probably a facter also

maybe buy a fpr and lower the psi on the fuel a little bit so it isnt running too much fuel for the emissions test.

I used the Si ecu for the emissions test and my zc(sold) passed without any trouble. I wasn't going to chance it with my zc ecu.:)

....just finally got mine in working condition tonight.......i think......so i HOPE that it passes here in OH..........

I live in CA and had a ZC in my 88 teg. Used the teg ECU and passed the smog stuff just fine... It shouldnt be a problem.

wait a minute u had a jdm zc in ur 88 teg how is that possible they dont fit mounts are different

I passed with an 88 teg ecu, gutted cat, and no muff. Still dont know how I pulled that off!
