I have done a few installs. Just follow jr instructions, they are great step by step. What else do you want to know.
Kit takes about 8 hours to install.
what kind of issues arrise with the jrsc, im not to worried about the install i know they are supposed to be a pretty easy install. but what about engine temps, belts n pullys. performance issues while daily driving/not so daily driving. that kinda stuff. i have already made the decision to go SC, but im trying to figure out which one. any problems with start ups. the things that make you smile and make you frown.

I haven't had to many issues. Temp runs just alittle hotter than na.
I have blown a belt or 2. Now I keep a spare. Also you have to keep an eye on the tensioners. They go accaionally. jr suggest changing them every 5000 miles.
I still get great gas milage. The only draw back I have seen is they are limited to the boost you can get. You can get more boost from a stepper pully or a larger crank pully.
I have superchargers on both my cars. I am impressed with both my set ups. My daily driver functions like a normal car, just has that hidden secret when you mash the throttle. My weekend warrior gets the shit beat out of it and has held up quite well. Besides the few blow belts and tensioner.

yeah see thats what im lookin for. umm.. what happens when the belt goes out, which belt is it, cant drive like that right? do you think i would have to worry about the heat. i do live in texas. it get hot as hell here. what if i were to just get a better radiator you think that would keep it cooler or is it not necessary. how about those tensioners, why do they go out, how? how about replacing it is that difficult.

I would call Larry @Endyn, and get setup w/ the mp62 adapter kit, so you can run the JRSC gsr supercharger on your d motor right from the get go. Loooootttttsssss of torque :D

Belt goes out but you can still drive the car... at least on the GSR.
D series you can't because it spins the alternator. Tensioners are easy to change. Same as the belt. A few hand tools and you can do it along side the road. I just carry spare parts because I hate to be stranded.
Temp you can keep down just from a thermostat. Just run a colder one.

I dont want to sound like a hater cause I love the JRSC but a B18c swap would get you more power. It all depends what you are looking for. I do not discourage supercharging cause I love it, but D series are small engines to begin with. Just my $.02

I've had my D16 w/ JRSC and 8PSI kit for several years. Same setup on 2 different motors... I've had no problems... been dead on reliable on the street and at track day events. The key to longevity is to control detonation. IMHO if you are starting with the basic kit then you should add the upgraded fuel pump, 160 deg thermostat, colder plugs and I highly recommend the JR BTC if you're not using more sophisticated engine management. I only run 94 octane (Sunoco Ultra).
