HF shell...that was my way out..and it is a sacrifice..but i like it better

 

what do you mean, you skinned the roof off an HF. Fuck that. I really wanna know about this glass. The yellow crx they have looks good. But they also have a grey primer crx that looks like shit. Here is the link... The only other route i'm thinking about is the carbon fiber replacement panel from Visionmotorworks.com. Its either save weight, or still have my functional sunroof.

No thanks, i'll stick with my Si. I have way too much money in it. The only thing wrong with it is the sun roof. I wasn't trying to be an asshole. Since there isn't a single scratch on the entire car, i'm not concerned with the roof scratching. I just can't decide if i like it or not. I just wanted to know if anyone bought the thing, and if it was a piece of shit or not.

Out of curiosity, what's wrong with your roof?

I know I'm on borrowed time with mine, I have rust working above the headliner. It used to be no big deal, but in the last couple years I can tell it is growing because the headliner now has some bumps, and when those are pushed the metal is soft. I think though (actually blind hope really) the rust is on another layer of metal and not on the inside surface of the outer painted roof. Someday I know I'm going to have to deal with it, for now I just keep it away from rain.

 

Yeah I have seen people put these in there cars. They are hard to get right and seal properly and some people have had problems with them yellowing or scratching. But give it a shot if you want.

most ebay crap will be a plug to seal it not a sunroof be sure you get what u want
