I'm trying to install a pair of pioneer ts-d690r 6x9's (same as these) in the rear deck of my car but I can't even get the speakers into the hole. As I slide them back they hit the window and won't go any further (I'll post some pics later). I thought about going up from the bottom, but the trunk springs are in the way (which by the way I STILL can't figure out how to remove). I've been searching around, but it seems no one else has ran into this problem. So here it is:

a) Is there a way to install speakers w/ mounting depth of a full 3.5" possible w/out havin to remove window?

b) Whats the procedure for removing the trunk springs?
