Anyone ever heard of someone putting
a rotary engine from an rx7 into a honda, like a civic ?

that'd be pretty cool, the rotary(13b) is only a 1.3 liter,
and it pumps out 255 hp:D :D :D :D
of course thats with the rx7's stock turbos.

I suppose you'd have to convert the car to reardrive,
or do something fancy to get it working with the front drive layout.

But it sure would be cool.

It wouldn't Fit...
Teh only reason the SP-Enginering Rx-7 could hold the SUpra Engine is 1 it had alot of custom chasisis work done and the engine bay was about the same size. The only way you would fit a rotary engine of a Civic is only re modify th chasis, you relocate basicaly everything but the main engine and the transmission and also that reminds me the Transmission woulld not fit you could get the Rx-7 engine modifyed to fit it but then you wouldn't be able to buy right off the aftermarket parts everyting would have to be custom made or you could Cram that Rx-7 Transmission in which will gratly affect the interior room of the civic and the engine might not shift correctly..... First of all it wouldn;t be worth the time.. the money... and the horsepower.....with the money you put into you"Engine Swaping" you could of spent of Civic parts and gotten results way over 225hp and you would be ing right off the market instead of getting Custom Parts or Rx-7 parts. If you where Extremly Rich and had too much money it burns your hands do what every you wish.. spend of couple of 100 thousand on ur civic.... But if you a normal income family like me i wouldn;t do it

yeah, of course I dont expect any normal people to pull it off!!

obviously its such a bizzare idea, it would cost oodles to do it.
But it would be oozing COOL FACTOR
just for being somethin special!

heh, if I was a billionaire I might do it...

although I'd probly be too busy playing with my mclaren collection, hehehe
